Iphone apps free for a limited time?

There’s some of those iphone apps that are free for only a limited amount of time….? If let’s say, I didn’t know about it and thought that it was going to be free forever, and I download it. Will it start to cost me after that time limit? Or would they prompt me and tell me that the free period is over and you have to pay now? Do I have a choice to get rid of the app so that it wouldnt charge me?? Or does it mean that it’s counted as a free app for this week, let’s say, so if you miss the chance you wont be able to get it for free again, but if you manage to get it for free you get to keep it for free?

sorry if it’s a stupid question… but i dont want to end up spending hundreds on iphone apps.
So, like, you get to use it for free forever if you install the app free during that period of time? Hmmm I’d like to try jailbreaking if I knew how. It sounds too confusing and i’m a hightech noob, so…

For ipod/iphone apps that say “Free for a limited time” do you have to pay later at some point?

I downloaded a few games that said “Free for a limited time” and i was just wondering if you have to pay later at some point? Like when you update them.

If i buy a free app for my itouch, but its limited time, but i bought it b4 the limited time expired, would i have to buy it after the date it starts charging??????
