I want a new phone what do you suggest?

I want a new phone, I currently have verizon and have a voyger. I hate the phone. I am looking at switching to att and getting an iphone or impression. Att doesn’t have the best service but I love all the apps on the iphone. My contact isn’t up until Feb 2010. Any suggestions?

How does verizon’s new upgrades work? [iphone]?

Okay so i have a samsung reality. I got in august of 2010. I want to upgrade to the iphone 4S. Im just wondering

[1]if this is still part of the every two plan(which i believe discounts the iphone a little bit).

[2] i am on a 25mb data plan, could i upgrade to the unlimited?

[3] If i cant, what is the best data plan for me?
I wont be downloading huge apps or watching videos, just facebook/browsing web.

1. I don’t understand what you are trying to ask in question 1. Sorry.

2. Verizon does not have unlimited plan anymore, it has been removed in the summer times.

3. I recommend the 2G data plan, which is also the cheapest for 30 dollars a month.

Iphone 4 Apps Wont Open

IPHONE 4 MY APPLICATIONS WONT OPEN?

today I updated my phone through itunes, and all my applications worked fine, then all of a sudden none of my apps seem to work. My games wont work, facebook, echofon, twitter…none of them will open. They will flash open and close quickly. What can I do? I already soft resetted my phone by holding home and lock. I turned my phone on and off..Any other suggestions?

iOS 5 beta 5 apps wont open?

I have just installed ios 5 beta 5 onto my iPhone 4 (gsm) , the 1st method i tried was shift + restore via iTunes and let it restore my device to the new beta, i then synced everything to my iPhone and only the system default apple apps would open ie phone mail safari etc. so i thought i should try a different method which i heard about online.
This method was from ios 5 beta 4 go to settings and erase all content, then do OTA update, so i tried this and synced etc, and still the same outcome.

Any advice is appreciated
i activated my udid in the apple dev centre, then i have upgraded to each beta once release, i think this is what you mean? if not let me know lol thanks

I phone help, Apps wont work when i click them, it just goes back to the main menu, please help to fix this!

i had my iphone updated from 1.1.1. to 1.1.4, since the update ive been downloading some apps such as flashlight,sendsong etc, and every time when i click on them to use it.. it just opens them and goes back to my iphone menu.( i didnt jailbreak my phone, i got it from a import place.) so i dont know how to rejailbreak the phone!!
please help

I heard about a fortune cookie app producing this problem. Try removing that.
If you do not have that try removing one application after another and look if it returns back to normal.

Cydia Applications wont load… any help?

ok. so i have my iPhone 3g jailbroken. i got some apps and none of them work except winterboard
they all open up a black screen and then return me to my spring board. cycorder is one of the ones that does not work. what do i do to fix this problem. im on firmware 4.0.2 by the way.
ooo also to kill 2 birds with one stone can anyone tell me what the name of the app is that gives you that like toolbox open up at the top of the screen when you slide your finger across the top? i used to have it i think it was from cydia. cant remember though

How to delete iphone 4 apps without plugging into computer?

I have an iphone 4 and something happened today where my apps had the little “x” as if I could just delete them off the phone. I didn’t know you could do that. I know how to delete them off the computer, but how can I get them off my phone to? I don’t know what I did to get those “x”s but I want to do that again. Also, why can’t I delete the ones that come with the phone, like Stocks? I don’t care about Stocks, so how can I delete it?

Press any icon. All icons will start to shimmy and an “x” will appear in the upper left corner of any app that can be deleted. Touc the “x” and the app is deleted. Press the home key and the apps will stop shimmying.

Factory installed apps cannot be deleted unless you jailbreak.

How come all my iPhone 4 apps got deleted when I synced my photos to it?

I just bought my iPhone 4 today, and I got to games for it. When I plugged it into my computer (iTunes version 10) and synced a folder of photos onto it, both the apps got deleted! What’s that all about?!

Iphone Apps For Babies

I just got an Iphone and I am wondering what kind of apps I can put on it dealing with pregnancy and babies?

even though I am not pregnant, I want to be so much haha I have an app that tells me when I am fertile. I don’t want to be super weird and have a bunch of baby apps and pregnancy apps when I am not pregnant but I don’t know what other kind of apps to have for it, I have a drinking app, (actually 3) I have Adult Never have I Ever (which is stupid because I am never done anything so its a waste of my time to have it), i have a kama sutra, one because… eventually I’m gonna have sex so I might as well study to be a pro at it… and thats like it.. a bunch of games and stuff for my classes.
The point is that I am not pregnant.. not even close to being pregnant (hopefully soon I will be) so should I put them on? I am just basically obsessed with pregnancy

So far I only have a couple apps. for my 2 yr old son on my iPhone. I have the Baby flash cards and a couple other similar ones, and I have a few Mickey Mouse Club House and Diego YouTube videos on my ‘Favorites’ list on the phone, but that’s about it. I am curious if anyone has any other suggestions for iPhone apps (or YouTube videos) to entertain a Toddler while out and about shopping, or on long road trips?

New iPhone 4S. Any must-have apps suggestions?

I’m getting the iPhone 4S as a belated Christmas present from my parents. Verizon didn’t have any in stock, so I’ll have it on the 29th. I’m familiar with how the iTunes store glorifies apps that turn out to be useless and writes false positive reviews for expensive apps when there are free apps that do the same thing, only better. So, I had to ask the purely opinion-based Yahoo Answers what must-have apps I should download. Here’s a few additional details.

-I prefer them to be free, but if they’re really good, I’m willing to spend a little money.
-I’ll only have 16 GB for songs, videos, and apps, so I prefer if they use very little memory.
-I’m already getting the fun iLife and handy iWork apps so I can create files and print them.
-I literally don’t care who makes them, just as long as they’re /useful/.
-Do you have any iBook suggestions? I’m also aware there’s an app for Kindle.
-Are there any good apps Exclusive to the iPhone 4S?
-I don’t play many game apps, but if you know of a /really/ good one, let me know. (I wish Capcom would release Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective on iOS in America. It’s exclusive to Japan.)

Anyway, I really appreciate all the help I can get. The app store is a clutter of too many apps that mostly suck, so thanks in advance for showing me where the hidden gems are.

ok well i have a g1 and i happen to get almost all my apps for free and the iphone has free apps and some you must pay for
but my questions is what other phones have free apps???
and if not why is that so???
because i was messing with my friends sidekick lx and almost all her apps you have to pay like 2 dollars for

The iphone and g1 are the only smartphones that have an app store and only allow you to download apps from the store.

The sidekick is not a smartphone.
